Day 18 Fontainbleau

Well today is our last day in the RV and we are both ready to turn it in and to sleep in a real bed. We woke up this morning to a real cuckoo outside of our RV it was pretty neat and boy are they loud. Wish we could have seen it. Mark ran up to the campground office and picked us up a baguette for breakfast. We had some of the tasty French butter we bought in Provence and  I had a hard time putting it down. Oh yum. While packing up the RV the cuckoo continued to serenade us.

We find the chateau easy enough and spend the next several hours inside. Thought this would take 90 min. but it took probably 3 hours. We didn't have time to walk around the gardens which I would have loved but we still have lot's to do today.

We stopped for lunch at a bistro across the street from where we parked called Bistrot Gourmand. Great food with even better service with a waiter that loved his job and new it well. We enjoyed this bistro and would have liked to stay for a second glass of wine but we still had to drive to our campground in Jablins (the same one we stayed in on nt.1) and clean out the RV for it's return early in the morning. Dinner this night was a pizza that was actually delivered to the RV. I still get a kick out that.

We're excited tomorrow is Paris.

Chateau Fontainbleau

So large it won't all fit in the frame.

 Does this obelisk look familiar?

Hay bale art outside of our campground in Jablins. This reminded us of the ones we see each year when we watch Tour de France.
